Oh yeah that episode was good. He had a wild time with that bunch of nuts at the 4077. *grins*

I cried at that very last episode of that series.

I'm not the type to cry at TV shows and movies, but that one had me going.

I didn't start watching it until long after it was cancelled, so I can't say I miss it... but it's a great show, and it's sad there's been nothing even remotely like it since.

Thanks! I love Sidney. It's too bad he wasn't in more episodes. One of my favorite episodes is Dear Sigmund.

I came across here radomly while searching for that quote about the size 13 shoes. (I just finished Mike Farrell's autobiography.) Anyway, lovely icons!

Thanks! Mike Farrell's autobiography is next on my list of things to read. I just finished Alan Alda's "Never Have Your Dog Stuff and Other Things I've Learned."

I love that quote about BJ. Dear Sigmund is one of my favorite episodes.

I think you have just become my new graphics inspiration. The best thing about the show (that many people just don't get) is that it wasn't making fun of war, it was light of a serious situation, showing some of the horrors in a light hearted way. I defy anyone to watch the bit with Hawkeye's memory of a woman smothering a chicken and not be moved.

So true! I just watched the final episode the other night and that scene always breaks my heart. That and the scene with Charles and the musicians.

And where Father Mac yells at God. I say "yells" in a non-specific manor cause i don't think he actually yelled.

Dear Sigmund works so well. Love the reference to the Swamp as a Spa of sorts and the filling of Frank's air-raid shelter...

He didn't yell, but he did get angry at God. That episode had a lot of moments like that, that really tugged at you. Like when Hawkeye was upset that BJ left without leaving a note just like Trapper did.

I love that episode because it gives you insight into each character from Sidney's point of view. I love the practical jokes. Another great episode is the one where BJ vows to pull a prank on everyone within 24 hours. That one cracks me up.

Thanks! I was watching The Interview, and I saw that image and needed to capture it. I loved the way it looked, so I didn't want to change it much. I just added a little blue to his eyes in one, and then applied the blue to the whole image in the other.

82 - I could never figure out what it was about BJ in that episode that felt off and it took seeing your icon to realize it... He is mustache-less!!! o_O

Oh, and wonderful icons! I've been lurking while you finished, and I'll come grab some later, but I just wanted to tell you how beautiful they are.

It's funny how BJ looks so weird without the mustache, even though when he first joined the show, he didn't have it.

I'm glad you like them! BJ is definitely my favorite MASH character, and now that you mention it, he's a bit like my dad too. My dad used to have the big cheesy mustache and everything.
